About This Image
Not far from the bustle of todays world is some marshy farmland along a county road. It was in this place that I came upon this Sandhill Crane as he was doing his dance in the cornfield, trying to attract a female companion. He had probably been hunting the many frogs and toads that inhabit the marsh. After a short time, he took to the air and flew over the powerlines to the wetland north of the road.
Thanks for viewing!!
