This is I think a Cactus Wrens nest that was built in a Cholla Cactus.

Hi Ann and Beverly, Thanks for your nice comments.. I got as close as I could without getting into the cactus but did not see anyone inside. There nests are very safe, no way could I get close enough to touch this one.
