great shot, Graham. Nice to "see" it again, -my aunt and uncle took me to Coventry Cathedral when I was on vacation in England for 5 months in 1959, staying with them at Leeds, where they lived for a short time. Still have the little "guidebook" (somewhere : ) and some postcards I believe, - think there's a "Memorial to the RAF" there also, seem to recall having a pamphlet about that too. Now you've got me thinking about hunting out these "memories from the past" : )

Thanks Vicki, yes the cathedral must have been something in its day, my Father used to go there with his parents as a young lad on Sundays for the service. You are correct it was destroyed in 1940 in the Coventry blitz.

Wow! I lived in England for 6 years many years ago but never got to Winchester Catherdral (always loved the old song though!) She was a WW2 casualty, and this is a beautiful testamonial. Nicely done.
