About This Image

While working on setting up the drag strip I took some time and walked around the streets and found this Ford that is a friend of mines. He just recently bought it and is so anxious to get working on it. So what do you think, should he paint it back to black, or maybe a deep purple metal flake?

Hi El Captain and Mike, I will let my friend Dennis know your thoughts about his Model A. Hey El Captain, when and where is the Billetproof going to happen? I know about the Temecula Rod Run on March 9th. I have not talked to him in a couple months now and don't know what he has done to his ride. Mike I'm pretty sure it will be turned into your way of doing the truck. He is a racer at heart. Hey Don if you happen to read this I have not forgotten about getting a new photo of the progress. As soon as it warms up everyone will be back outside and having fun on Saturday evenings at the local Sonic drive in. I will try and upload a shot of us having fun at the Sonic drive in. If anyone would like to see my 1966 Chevy Truck just drop drop by this page at my web site. www.geocities.com/a_linn/MyChevyTruck.html

candy apple red is my choice it is a two packed based paint jack the back end up pop some wide tyres and maybe some deep dish alloys slim front tyres and replace engine with a lovely chevy v8 , chrome the car and put in white leather with a red piping around the seams sidewinder exhausts and you got heaven x x x

Please dont paint the Model A! The color and patina is perfect! It sits just right also, take that iron cross crap off the back window too, please. Go to Billetproof with it, see you there!

Thanks everyone for all your thoughts about my friends old Model A Ford. He is a hot rodder at heart and with it having a V8 in it I think he is going to paint it some type of brighter color. It could be some time before it is all tricked out. Oh Alandra, you can make any color metal flake, all you do is add in really small shiny metal pieces in the paint. Then when you look at the paint job the little flakes reflect the sun making the color sparkle.

WOW!! great shot.decisions, decisions, decisions,it looks like there are enough original parts on it to restore it to its original condition. If he wants a hot rod,go with the metal flake.

Nice shot of a cool old Ford Alan. Purple all the way, and we'd like to see a shot of it finished if you don't mind. :-) Don
