Hi Golda, my pleasure :) --thanks for your comment, -- I guessed this was from you, when reading your comments to my DH just now : ) -- this is really a coincidence. We've only just discovered this deserted Wireless Station area in the past couple weeks, - it's where we go to collect the acorns for the squirrels from the oak trees there! Our neighbour told us about this place, and its past, - we've lived here over 20 years and didn't know it existed, or about the Wireless Station having been there at one time. But have driven past countless times. We really enjoy walking around in there, - no traffic to worry about, and a great place to walk the dogs, altho we haven't taken ours there yet. We heard that a film crew will be there this week, filming a movie, - we saw signs of this when there the last time.

Alandra,I used to roller skate on this runway when I was young.My father was in the army and we lived in what, was then called,Vancouver Wireless Station.The houses were moved many years ago, and now all that remains are the over grown roads,and of course the runway.Thanks for the little "trip"down memory lane.
