About This Image

This Cessna just took off from a small airport. Where is she going? Perhaps she is on a one-way trip into a distant land never to return. I blurred the background with a smart blur filter (15 pixels, 6 threshhold) for effect then did an unsharp mask (400%, 5 threshold, 0.3pixels) to sharpen up the plane. I also added a blue overlay (5% Opacity Hex:0000FF) to cool down the photo a little and give it a calm but solemn feeling.

Nice silhouette of a Cessna airplane. A friend of mine let me come along on short trip while he was earning hours for his pilot's license. It was nice because he let me fly for a few hours. Of course, he took off and landed, but I flew the rest of the way.
