About This Image

On my walk in the desert I found either the same Chipmunk or a different one that let me take it's photo. This one was climbing around in a Cholla cactus that has tons of needles. She would move around in it like it was nothing. I was totally amazed.

The lighting is really nice and highlights the sharp spines. Maybe it has learned that is a good place to avoid predators. Great shot!

Cute shot - The Chipmunk does't appear to be bothered by the prickers.
