Hi Alex, Thanks very much for your nice comment.. For focusing I set my camera to only focus on dead center in the viewfinder. So when it focuses on the chipmunk I quickly compose and shoot.

You caught a great shot of this little critter Alan,it looks like a tough spot to get a good focus there with all the needles and branches.

Hi Ann, Thanks again for your very nice comments. I'm glad you liked the sharpness and colors. It is a little tough to get nice colors with everything in the desert mostly brown.
