Lorriane. thank you it does feel warm with the sunny yellow. Not that it is like summer today. If it gets any colder I will be lighting the fire. lol Steve. Thank you for your wisdom I will give it a go and hopefully get a clearer photo Carol Thank you for looking. I love vibrant colours.

Fantastic and beautifully saturated colours. It's a pity that the background leaves are more perfectly in focus than the flower itself. Focus always extends further behind the object than it does in front of it, so it's worth deliberately focusing on the nearest part of the subject, and letting the rest of it take care of itself. You might also try using a smaller aperture, f11 or f16 perhaps, to give you greater depth of field. But those tremendous colours more than compensate for any focus issues! Steve

This is a lovely shot, love the bright golden colours, make you feel like summer.
