About This Image

Looking out into Lake Michigan from Chicago's lakefront are these lighthouses. This picture was taken near the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Soldier Field.

I wish I had a good telephoto or wide angle lens to do it justice. With the telephoto, I could have focused in on the largest lighthouse and with the wide angle, I could have captured the depth in a full frame shot. What I ended up doing was cropping most of the water in the foreground to give it the appearance of a panoramic shot. I also should have rotated the picture so that the horizon was actually horizontal.
