These egrets are very quick to take flight whenever you approach. I was only able to get one quick shot on the ground before he took flight.

Nice caapture - agree with Steve about the blur adding to the sense of movement.

Although there is a hint of blur in this image, I think it actually adds to the sense of movement. I like the way the extreme ends of the wing feathers have faded away into nothing.
