Interesting subject Carol. They do have really nice colours and amazing markings; they almost look as if they've been knitted! Lol :)

Nice sharp macro of some pretty but not very nice critters! I think these are the Milkweed Tussock Moth larva, and they can leave a rash if they crawl on your skin. They're brightly marked to warn predators that they're toxic.

Oh, I could almost feel the caterpillar crawling on me!!!! It has beautiful colors but it looks as if it might sting. Great picture.
