I absolutely love your wbeiste.. Pleasant colors & theme. Did you create this wbeiste yourself? Please reply back as I’m wanting to create my own personal wbeiste and want to know where you got this from or just what the theme is called. Appreciate it!

Is this Baby?

Nice shot. :) What does it say in his ear? I noticed when I adopted my kitty they put an N in her ear for Neutered. I never saw words in the ear. BTW, do you live far from Niagara Falls?

we just call him "Good Boy" and he goes into orbit when he hears us say that : ) - but he's listed at the vets as "Baby". the vet put the tattoo in his ear for us when he was asleep having dental work done. yep, it's for identification. We had one cat that was hit by a car and killed behind our home, just before we got this guy, - so the vet called us with the terrible news, as one kind young woman took the poor cat to the vet. Otherwise we would not have known what happened. it was a strange thing that day, our dogs were acting very "different" when they were let out onto the back deck, so I always felt that must have been when the cat got hit, or shortly afterwards. they sensed something wrong was going on just beyond our back fence. Poor little Pretty Boy, - we were devastated, as it happened shortly after my dad died, plus we were going thru a terrible time ontop of that. It seemed like the "last straw" at the time.

I thought he had an anceint egyptian look about him. What is his name? Is the ear tatooing for identification? He looks absolutely gorgeous, and the squint, and slightly uplifted head makes him look more like an ancient egyptian. Great shot!

thanks Ev and Janice. Our cat is an Abyssinian, supposedly an ancient breed, from the days of the Pharoahs or some such thing : ) He is a lovely cat, very loving. The vet put a tattoo in his ear for us onetime when he was having some teeth removed.

Your cat is beautiful, what kind is he or she? And is the cat tatooed in his ear?

thanks Carol and Lulu. Those shows are very good. Hadn't heard that about the cats' friendly squint tho', that's interesting : ) Had heard about the nudging, and also that when they tap your face with their front paw, that is the "highest" form of love they can show you. Thought that was sweet. Also if they bite, that is not done in spite (normally), as they bite their kittens too. But scratching you is done when they are angry. Also, when they scratch the wood of a gate or fence, (or wherever else) they are leaving their scent there (they have scent glands near their claws, apparently). You might already know all this, but others might find it interesting.

Alandra, you have a gorgeous cat. I know what you mean about the eyes closing though. I watches a program on cats on the discovery channel and it said that closing their eyes to a squint is their friendly way of greeting. They don't like wide-eyed staring. Also, if they give you a head nudge, then they consider you to be one of them and a friend. The programme was really interesting. Made me see my cats in a different light.
