What I like about this photo is that you rarely see the male cardinal relaxing. At least I have never seen that. Nice capture of his colors.

How do you get such nice shots, I've tried but can hardly see the birds for all the branches etc. Your photos are very lovely tho I wish I could do the same!

Thanks for the comment Steve,No, we are not the same person,Carol is my wife and quite often we will shoot through the same window.I kept tellin her to move so I could focus without her reflection,but she wouldn't.lol I guess I'll have to nudge her next time.

Now, are you sure you and Shutterbug are not the same person?! This bird seems to be in the same tree that Carol cloned the distracting needles from! Nice shot, although not perfectly focused.
