About This Image

this pink camellia has dewdroplets on it's petals from the fog. Quite surprising to see these flowers blooming at the end of November in Canada : )
The name of this camellia is Jean May.
blooming in our friends' front garden, they have planted 2 new camellia shrubs there.

thanks very much, Anne, for the lovely comment. It is a tender pink, as you wrote. Must check this coming spring and see if it's still in my neighbour's garden.

What a beautiful camellia Alandra. The color of the bloom is so amazing. A tender, pale pink and the green leaves about the flower make for an enjoyable composition.

thanks very much, Vicki, am quite happy with those frames also. There are 2 like that, the "dark" one used here, and a paler version. Each time I try to decide which one goes best with each pic : )

I really like this, Alandra - the broken frame gives it an interesting exta element. Lovely colors

thanks Carol, am wondering if it will turn out to be a "double" variety when the shrub grows more. Right now the flowers appear to be more "single". should check at a garden centre or in one of my gardening books.
