About This Image

California Sister (Adelpha bredowii) One of the most colorful butterflies I've ever has the luck to find in the wild. My buddy that was with me kept getting killer photos of this every day. On the last day (we stayed 7-8 days) I finally took this photo.
Taken in the Huachuca Mountains at Ramsey Canyon in Cochise Co., AZ on August 26, 2004.

this is beautiful, have never seen this type of butterfly, and have never taken a good butterfly pic yet.
