Thanks for your comment. No filters were used, but I did shoot directly into the sun, and that causes the camera to underexpose, which eliminates a lot of the glare. I don't have any filters for my digital cameras.

Fantastic shot. I would be like to know if you used any filters with this to avoid over/under exposure.
