About This Image

Today on my walk through the desert I noticed this Cactus Wren standing on a Cholla cactus with some nesting material in it's beak. On my third shot I lucked out and snapped this shot just as it was taking off. The Cactus Wren is the Arizona State Bird.

Alan, nice catch! Beautiful shot with it's wing feathers fanned out, taking off.
