Thanks Don and Steve for the lovely comments.Butterflys and bugs are so fun to capture on film in the summertime.Just to see how close you can get to them.

Beautiful shot, and with crystal clarity. I like the pale yellow of the wing against the lilac of the flowers, and the flatness of the wing in contrast to the spikiness of the flowers. That kind of double contrast really appeals to me.
