About This Image

Two Morpho Menelaus,and one unidentified, butterflies feeding on banana and slices of orange at the Butterfly Conservatory in Key West.
The photo' shows the underside of their wings, which are shades of brown, in colour, and have round circles which resemble eyes.
When their wings are open, they are a beautiful blue and can have a 3-8" wing span. They are found mostly in South America.
