Thanks much for your comments. Yes, the speck is part of thistle but the suggestion is good because it detracts from the main focus. Thanks.

Thats a great effect Mary, very nice. That speck in the upper left corner appears to be a thistle thorn, right?

Mary, This is WONDERFUL!!! I really enjoy it. There seems to be a speck in the upper left or the photo. I would remove it. Great shot.
