About This Image

Burrowing Owls do exactly that - live in underground burrows in the midst of south Florida sub-divisions. If they burrow there, the builders can't build until they leave. I liken this shot to the mad bluebird. You can get close to them, to a point, and then they move on. I will imagine that one day soon, the Snow Birds will drive these native birds out of existence, if the builders have any say so in it.
