A very pritty image the focous on the bloom is nice and sharp, sorry I don't know the name of this one.

Great photo of the really pretty wildflowers. I also like the narrow depth of field making the in focus blooms stand out and your low view point.

At an aperture of 1.8, the depth of field is very shallow. Those first few flowers are in focus, but everything else is out of it's depth of field. If you're looking for more of the picture to be in focus, then a smaller aperture (represented by a larger f stop number) is what you'd want to use. I went for this shallow depth of field on purpose.

Just seen this lens today. I have a D40 Nikon. Thinking bout buying one. But great shot but dont see why the shot is not more clearer.
