Guest - May 18, 2007 07:42 AM EDT Thanks, Alandra, and you can be as critical as you like since that's the way I'll learn something! :)
The angle thing is easy: this is the "correct" angle as the statue appears in the street. After I'd extracted it from the background for this image, I thought why not get rid of the plinth as well? Once I'd done that I was free to rotate the image as I wished, and so ended up with the 4th version with the "sea" added. Not that everyone thought that I hadn't wasted my time, eh Grumpy?!
Guest - May 18, 2007 04:27 AM EDT this is really good, but now that I've seen the water added, this seems sort of "stark" and colourless. (not meaning to be critical at all) - am also thinking that the placement or angle of the boy seems different in this capture, than it appears in the version with the sea added. Am a bit puzzled by this. But it's just past 1 AM so think I'm giving up for tonight :)
Guest - Mar 22, 2007 07:33 PM EDT Thanks Beverly.
Guest - Mar 21, 2007 08:27 AM EDT I too like this one the best because of the nice clean background. And Don's colored version is nice also.
Guest - Mar 19, 2007 06:31 PM EDT Thanks Mary! See what you think of Don's colourful version!
Guest - Mar 19, 2007 12:54 PM EDT You got it Steve...that is what I had in mind. I like it uncluttered. Now I look forward to how Don is going to alter it! :)) Well done!
Guest - Mar 19, 2007 12:30 PM EDT I like this one too Steve. But I might fool with it if you don't mind, just to see what it looks like with a different color in the background. Don
