Thanks, Alandra, and you can be as critical as you like since that's the way I'll learn something! :) The angle thing is easy: this is the "correct" angle as the statue appears in the street. After I'd extracted it from the background for this image, I thought why not get rid of the plinth as well? Once I'd done that I was free to rotate the image as I wished, and so ended up with the 4th version with the "sea" added. Not that everyone thought that I hadn't wasted my time, eh Grumpy?!

this is really good, but now that I've seen the water added, this seems sort of "stark" and colourless. (not meaning to be critical at all) - am also thinking that the placement or angle of the boy seems different in this capture, than it appears in the version with the sea added. Am a bit puzzled by this. But it's just past 1 AM so think I'm giving up for tonight :)

I too like this one the best because of the nice clean background. And Don's colored version is nice also.
