I've got another shot of a London statue somewhere that I've manipulated exactly as you're describing, so I'll try and post that one too!

Steve, I hope you don't mind me saying this, I would like to see a photograph of the statue without all of the background detail. I don't know how you could manage to do it...but I think it would be very impressive and artsy.:)) On my monitor the sky looks blown out.
