Guest - Jun 23, 2007 03:28 AM EDT I just looked up info on the lynx and bobcat. The smaller ones can weigh 15-20 pounds. The bobcat has a black tail tipped in white and the Canadian lynx has a black tail and those famous ear tufts. There are 12 sub-species so they vary depending upon their origin. Our Texas bobcats are smaller 15-20 pounds, but some larger ones and the lynx can top 30 pounds. They prey on birds and rabbits mostly. The Canadian lynx hunts the snowshoe hare.
