Hi Carol, you snuck in while I was replying :-) Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you enjoyed my bird and buds photo. YEA Spring is finally here in Arizona and the trees are the first to show there new leaves. One bad thing about spring is with the leaves in the trees it is going to be harder to get a clear shot of the birds.

I heard that about the vegetation, I end up deleting a lot of shots because of this. It is Boat-tailed grackle (Brown Headed Black Bird) another nuisance bird. They often flock with the Starlings

He's got a mean look about him, Alan, but it's a great shot. I'll check my books when I get home and see if I can identify him for you. Vicki
