About This Image

This image was taken with my 50mm 1.8f prime lens up Big Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah. I like this prime for the wide aperture because it creates a pretty narrow depth of field.

Brian, Lovely image good colouring nice defused background, i think the flower is called a 'Western Blue Flax'. Enjoyed viewing Chriss:)

Beautiful photo with great colors and composition. The little spider? line from the petal to the stem in the left keeps catching my eye. I haven't had my 50mm on my camera in a long time, I guess I should see if it still works LOL..
