Guest - Jun 11, 2006 09:22 AM EDT Great job here. My eye just keeps wandering around the photo.
Guest - Jun 11, 2006 04:06 AM EDT This is a wonderful picture. Good work.
Guest - Jan 26, 2006 03:36 PM EDT yeah, always seems to be "a fly in the ointment", with most places, as the saying goes : )
all in all, this suits me just fine.
Guest - Jan 26, 2006 02:29 PM EDT Joel said the same thing to me the other day - we were hoping he and Sarah would come down, but it isn't looking good. If it is any consolation, watering holes usually filled with egrets and herons are drying up rapidly and the love bugs are returning - they are really irritating insects!
Guest - Jan 25, 2006 03:14 PM EDT great to find your message here, Vicki! Hubby would sure like to be sampling that weather right now. He gets fed up with the dull days in winter here, but I don't let it get to me, thankfully.
Guest - Jan 25, 2006 02:30 PM EDT Smartypants! Hugs to you, dear friend. All is well here in 84 degree fahrenheit sunny Florida! I'm giving water safety programs at local elementary schools in exchange for my gorgeous campsite!
Guest - Jan 21, 2006 03:16 PM EDT that's telepathy, Vicki, as had been thinking of you an hour or two ago, thinking it'd been sometime since we'd seen you here. Thanks for the nice comments, glad you like it, - hope all's going well for you.
Guest - Jan 21, 2006 02:38 PM EDT Alandra, you done good!!!!!! I really like the uniqueness of this. You are having far too much fun exploring your inner talents! Thank you for a delightful treat on one of my far too rare visits to TLF!
Guest - Jan 21, 2006 11:10 AM EDT thanks again, Susan from NZ, glad you like it, - it was the bright blue colour that appealed to me also. hard to believe it started off as snow on an ornament
Guest - Jan 20, 2006 11:23 PM EDT I like this, very unusual, love the colours.
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 02:03 PM EDT thanks very much, happy you like it. the frame is something different.
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 01:53 PM EDT Very nice abstract and colors and I love the frame!!!
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 01:01 PM EDT thanks Alex, it's just PSP X, the frame : there's another neat one of the same type, with stars, will try that out asap : )
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 12:59 PM EDT now it's my turn to thank you, Mary. Your kind comments are much appreciated and am happy you like the photos. Did you see the 1939 letter from my Grandfather?- you might find it interesting.
re the frames you mentioned -
Also admired other listers frames of of that type, and then found these available in Paint Shop Pro X and really enjoy using them. They don't work for every photo tho. I just tried one last night on a new "creation" and it didn't work at all well : ) thanks again.
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 12:56 PM EDT WOW!! great effects, you are really getting creative.
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 12:30 PM EDT Being new to the site, I have just discovered your images- they are wonderful. I like the way part of the picture often goes over the frame. The variety and interest. I keep looking at the "Blue moon windflower" and old pictures of relatives. Beautiful.
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 11:54 AM EDT thanks Carol, your support is also always appreciated : )
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 03:49 AM EDT Nice effects!!!
Carol
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 01:43 AM EDT thanks so much, Alex D, for your kind support, it's truly appreciated : )
thought this has a sortof "outer space" feel to it
It's just a snow covered garden ornament, turned into this.
Guest - Jan 17, 2006 12:21 AM EDT Now this is pretty cool and different. Love your abstract work.
