About This Image

I was standing in a vineyard that day, saying to my wife"that sky would look great if I had a polarizing filter for this P&S camera". But I did, my sunglasses were polarized. So I gave them a try.

Fantastic shot! My time in Alaska was wet and cold but beautiful and memorable. I will post more pictures soon. In Juneau, we did the Mt. Roberts Tram, Mendenhall Glacier tour, and Glacier Gardens/Tongass Rainforest tour; all of which were amazing!

Cool shot, neat idea. It did work, great sky. But now the chances are even slimmer that she'll let you get a polorizing filter :-(. Don

As Lorraine said, that was a very effective idea! The sky against the intense green of the field makes this an arresting shot. Well done!
