Some bands in Mardi Gras parades do not play as they pass by. Many bands come by playing as you can enjoy the music of the parade. You can see some really try hard. These youngsters played loud and good. I enjoyed hearing them as they marched by on Napoleon Avenue in uptown New Orleans.
