About This Image

Only a tiny bird but darned difficult to catch on slow film in low light...he popped in whilst I was shooting ducks. Difficult to photograph in the conditions described above because they just don't stop moving...short, rapid, little movements...anyway...I got the shot...just!

This is wonderful. You were so lucky - just one of those shots. It seems you nearly could have lost everything with the over-exposed brightness on the lower right but the entire shadow of the bird is there, as if carefully positioned :)

This is beautiful, Stephen. Love the subtle colors and the contrasts. I'm enjoying all of your work but am never on line long enough to respond to many at a time! Beautiful!
