About This Image

This is a picture of a bird on the fence. I'm playing with a 200mm telephoto lens to see what its limitations are. This photo was taken at the Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve near Layton, UT. This image was cropped from 3000 pixels wide to 500 pixels, and it was taken at a range of about 100 feet.

Looks an interesting bird. Nice markings and I like the yellow on the head and breast. :)
