Jas - May 15, 2008 05:52 PM EDT This is a lovely piece of architecture Steve; full of history and character. When I first saw the title, I thought of Beaulieu Abbey in Hampshire but then saw the image and could see that it was not. France still has some wonderful historic buildings; the craftsmen certainly knew how to build them to last! :)
sgbrown - May 15, 2008 05:45 PM EDT Thanks, Tania and Lorraine. Although I'd love to visit New Zealand having seen images of your fantastic scenery, I don't think I could live in a country that didn't have really old buildings!!
lorraine - May 15, 2008 04:47 PM EDT Great place to photograph in and around by the look of it, beautiful image.
TMR8 - May 14, 2008 09:11 PM EDT Steve this is a beautiful building full of character. The history where you are is very impressive. NZ is a youngish country so we don't really get anything this impressive here
