About This Image

This is the view of us tourist that walked to the Battery Point Lighthouse at low tide, spent a hour or so at the lighthouse then on our walk back to the beach we discovered our path had become wet. I very slowly walked through the water and on rocks praying I did not fall with my camera. There sure is a lot of driftwood for making things.

Hi Mary and Beverly, Thanks very much for your nice comments back in 2006 :) It was rough walking for sure, and when the water started coming in it was worse. I'm glad we did not stay at the lighthouse any longer, the water was almost up to our knees in some places. Thanks Brian.. I'm glad you liked my snap shot of us tourist trying to get back to our cars, that area would wreck a boat no problem. The Lighthouse was up the hill and to the right.

Looks like the scene of a shipwreck, similar to some of our beaches on the Isle of Wight England

Looks like a battered area to me. Is that because it is low tide?

Looks like you are enjoying your vacation and getting a lot of photo ops. This walk looks rugged but interesting.
