I, too, think this is a lovely painting Mary. The building has a softness to it, created by the way you've coloured it, I think. I agree with Kathleen's comments re. the grass. It evokes a feeling of homeliness somehow.

This is beautiful Mary, you are very talented. Very nice job on the structure and shading of the barn and both sets of fences. The varying shades of green in the grass creates the feel of a warm summers day. Thanks for sharing!
