Bare foot and Happy

Not really, Alan. :-( This is private property and my classmate and friend, Larry, got me into the woods and down this long road before letting me know this fact. So I just enjoyed this warm day. He had me hopping over slippery rocks and up hills and over fields. He told me at the end of the day, I did pretty good for a first time hiker. LOL This was my "first" hike into the woods in my lifetime. It was fun. We had a lot of laughs as he tested my skills. LOL

Thank you Talsi, Ikka and Anne for viewing and commenting on this photograph of me wading in the spring,cold, stream. I had hestitated and then just took off my shoes and got in the stream. You know it felt so liberating and also it took a lot of everyday stress away. Later I walked with a friend up a hill and just sat and enjoyed the sun in the tall grass. I think we forget sometimes to get away out of the cities and just enjoy nature.

A lovely spot for a picture. Brings back many memories to me. *g* Now I am not in these lovely places but still barefoot in the wonderful big lawn here - at 81. *g*
