Guest - Jan 12, 2006 07:43 PM EDT hi alandra ..yes they are breath takin to watch .im lucky to see them as much as i do .im in awe any time they fly over head ....i work in a gravel pit where its kinda close to the river so right now they fly over head going to the river for salmon..that have spawn already and the bodys of spawned out fish are easy pickens for these beautys to prey on..to see all them in the trees chirpping is sooooooo kool to hear ...at times i counted over 30 nesting in the trees.by the time they nest its pretty dark so cant take pics,..but glad you enjoy them as much as i do..fella
Guest - Jan 12, 2006 12:41 PM EDT great shots, Fella. they are incredible, the size of the wingspan is breathtaking, - you can't really get the true feeling of how it looks in real life from the photos. It's an awesome sight. When they land and take off amongst those dense branches, you wonder how they nagivate thru them. Lots of cracking and crashing sounds, LOL
