hi vicki ..no never used a tripod ..cam was set on a hi shutter speed ..and i used a sigma 50-500mm zoom lens ..set at 500 mm..im fairly lucky to have so many eagles in my area to make these shots possible ..thanks vicki ..fella

Another gem in this series. WEre you using a tripod? You must have been watching it patiently for some time. How much magnification did you use?
