good to hear from you, Shreekant, and thanks for telling us that the sanctuary is away from the coast. For people who care for animals, this is good news. We are so upset at all the loss of life of people also.

Absolutely. So do I. The animals, I suppose, are OK, since the sanctuary is away from the coast. However, the turtle hatchery is on the coast north of Colombo. I do hope they are fine.

can't help wondering what became of all these animals after the awful tsanumi that hit Sri Lanka. To say nothing of all the people. very tragic.
