About This Image

I discovered this scene along the access road on the way home. I had always wanted to take pictures of the old fence, and the afternoon light just made it an appealing subject. This probably won't survive long because of land development.

Thank you, Mary Sham, for your kind words. I am not familiar with the name of this style of fence. I liked that it had once been painted white, for contrast.

This is a lovely shot Karen...looks like an oil painting. The Paynes Grey fence sets it off nicely.

Thanks, Whittler, for your comment. I pass this by so often and on that day I noticed the yellow leaves being highlighted by the afternoon sun.
