Charminar means four pillers in Hindi. Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah built the monument in 1591 shortly after he had shifted his capital from Golkonda to what now is known as Hyderabad. There is big pearl market near Charminar.

The architecture is so unique and interesting. This looks to be an outdoor market and perhaps the center of the city. So pleasing to view.
