Thank you all for your nice comments. I was lucky with the lighting on this shot. He was drying his wings in the sun, but there was just enough overcast to cut the glare.

The Anhinga is beautifully displayed. I had never seen one before and as I have always watched the birds, I am happy to add a new one to list. Thanks for showing this new - to me - bird. Great picture.
