Thank you for your comments, Karen, Talsi, Steve and Alex. I felt good about this one. It was latish in the afternoon when I got it which added to the water color variable.

Interesting that both km and Beverly should mention the composition, since this was also what first drew me to this shot. I also like the way the bird's body divides the water into bluish and yellowish sections.
