About This Image

One of our strangest rescues. This is my little sister with baby possums. Their mother was killed by a car and we found the tiny babies beside the road. Look for the other pictures of them as they grow up!

I raised a baby possum that got into my house, and fed it for about a month, but I never handled it. I was amazed at their short life span--about two years. I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

have never seen such young possums. It's good that you were able to save the babies after the mother was killed. It's a wonder they weren't killed too, as believe the mama's are marsupials and carry the babes in a pouch. great pics.
