glad you like it, Beverly : ) - the open mouth is kindof different, - these baby birds are very demanding of their parents, - have watched them a lot as I've been capturing the images.

not to worry, Janice, am sure the baby bird will be fine. There's running water here and lots of bird feeders. I saw the parent bird feeding a baby today, right at the feeder, sitting right beside the parent : ) so hope this was the baby bird in the photo.

Wonderful photo and great timing catching the little bird with it's mouth open. The quince fruit really adds that perfect touch. Oh and great colors, exposure, and focusing. This is a really fun photo to view. Great Job!!
