This little bird perched on my garden shed one day after a strong rain. She was so sweet but I wondered where her family had gone.

You've captured a very, pretty, soggy little bird Ann. The image is beautifully clear and the wet feathers add lots of interest to the shot. The background has wonderful subtlety to make the bird the main focus of the image. :)
