anne - Apr 11, 2008 02:38 PM EDT Oh, those were the days. And in 1944 I rode a train similar to this one, to Baltimore, Md. Ah, those were the days. *g* We packed our lunch and as we ate, an occasional puff of black smoke rolled down past our window. *g* From a tiny community in Bristol, WV, my Uncle took me to catch the train in Salem, a small town close by. *LOL* I got off the train in Washington, DC. Thank you, Lsauld, for the memories. A wonderful trip to the past. A Great Picture!!
