Photography is confusing. I'm still not sure what to leave or take away from photos most of the time. :-) You would think taking a photo of a car would be easy, but it is extra hard. I forgot to mention shadows, they are everywhere at car shows. And for a tip, try to take the photos by bending down, or getting higher somehow. After taking photos at a car show my legs are sore from all the deep knee bends I do. A lower view always looks better than a standing view. I think this tip is true with shots of just about everything. Take some shots standing then the same bending down, then see which ones look better. And it's good exercise ROFL...

thanks for the nice comments and tips, Alan. Just realized how tricky this is, myself, when working on these shots today : ) When I tried to straighten this image, part of the vehicle was cut out, : ) - so thought it best to forget the straightening so that all the roadster would be in the frame. Didn't have time to remove the stuff in the background (after all the time I spent removing the twigs in the owl shots, and then everyone likes the twigs IN the pics), LOL.

Very nice job Alandra.. It is a new world taking photos of cars and trucks. There are so many things to watch out for especially reflections from all the shiny paint and chrome. I have been taking photos of cars for a while and still have a hard time in taking good photos of them. You did great with this shot. Car photos will make you crazy with backgrounds almost impossible, to people walking around, and other cars. Great Job...
