Two snowy owls looking skyward, taken at Boundary Bay, BC Canada, just south of Vancouver, near the Canada/US Border at WA state.
Am not sure if the one hunkered down is a juvenile being guarded by the mother owl, but there were 2 like that, sortof partly hidden by the logs, with an adult nearby.

thankyou, Alex, Mary in UK and Carol. I did get lots of pics of 2 together, but really liked the one where they are both looking skyward at the same time. Too bad they weren't sitting a bit closer together : ) as it would be clearer then.

Another great image- and to have captured the two of them - one slightly higher than the other on the log. PS I keep thinking of your title for the last one- owl fly free - brilliant- there is a poem in that Alandra!
